Not too long ago I had Zippey hauled out for a complete sanding down and repainting. She desperately needed it as the previous owner had not taken care of her at all. The fellow doing the painting appears not to have used proper marine paint as the bottom is currently trashed and already in need of having the underside sanded down and painted again. This is unfortunate. I had Double J Diving come out and do an inspection of the underside of my hull and here is what they found.
