October 2012 daily blogging challenge

To blog or not to blog

Laura Kimball of lamiki gave a presentation at WordCamp Portland 2012 on How to blog once a day. I have been wanting to be more active on this site for a long time, and after stewing over her presentation for a couple days I approached my buddy Jaffe, a member of the Seattle WordPress Meetup, and challenged him to blog every day for the entire month of October 2012 with me. He accepted and it is on.

I enjoy writing, something that I discovered thanks to a manager at a previous job. I initially thought that this was going to be a cinch, 30 days, 30 posts, no big deal. I have a stack of ideas for posts hanging out there. Not so much. My ideas only filled half the month, but I was able to build a full 31 day editorial calendar. Lets see how well I can stick to the plan.

What are some topics you would be interested in seeing me blog about?

Woo! Congrats on starting your blogging challenge! Very excited that you’re on board. For a topic, how about the process of convincing Jaffe to join you? 🙂

Haha! I do not see that happening. Jaffe likes to make plans. We will see if he executes 🙂
