As I was going through some old music books tonight I ran across a song that had been lost in the annals of time. The song is called Cows are Yummy.

I distinctly remember writing this song. I was at a youth camp with some friends in junior high. There were three of us sitting on a small hill with our acoustic guitars in a goofy mood. Clearly this was just before lunch and we had our bellies in mind while writing the song.

The song starts with the chorus which goes:

Cows are yummy (yummy)
Cows are yummy (yummy)

The verses are all ad-lib sing-song talk style and tell about someone driving along a country road who sees a cow and gets hungry.
