For my birthday this year I decided I needed to get away from the normal activities (including sailing) and back out to my roots. I used to hike at least twice a month but it has been a long time since I have hiked last. My buddy Rich and his two dogs, Peter Parker and Captain, both came with as well as of course the amazing Bella!

We went up to Lake Serene. It was a beautiful hike and the snow covered lake at the top made the trip worth it!
