Fun week! I found a double monitor stand in the back of my VW Bus that was hiding and picked up the Targus dock that I have been wanting/needing to finish off the setup. You might be thinking this is a bit of ridiculous overkill but I now have access to almost all my running apps at a glance. And I can toss the display from the Nexus 7 up to a monitor as well!
So what do I have here?
- 2x AOC e2243Fwk 1080p monitors
- 2x Samsung SyncMaster 2333 monitors
- iPad Mini
- Nexus 7
- Macbook Air
How is it hooked up?
- Targus Dock is the hub. I have too many USB devices that I plug in so this also acts as a USB 3.0 powered hub. It has a gigabit wired ethernet port and two video outs.
- USB 3.0 DisplayLink USB card
- AirDisplay for the iPad link. (AirDisplay on Android does not yet support multiple devices)
