It is almost too much to believe, I leave for Uganda in two days! This trip is the culmination of a five year dream and it is finally here.

My car is loaded up from the group packing day we had Saturday. 15 of us crowded into the tiny narrow halls of the storage unit where the trip supplies were located. We each are taking 2 suitcases. The second suitcase is dedicated to carrying medical/hygiene supplies, activities for the kids, etc.

One suitcase down! (the other pictured is my sister’s) There is still a lot that needs to be done in the next 2 days before leaving. My personal suitcase is about half full right now. Today I will be running around to several stores picking up those needed items that are last minute pick up things. There is too much to think about, but luckily by the powers of Apple I will get it all done. I have been keeping a running checklist open in the Reminders app :).
