So I put that restless energy to good use and built myself a new sailboat. I do sorely miss Zippey, but I think Old Dodger will suffice me for the time being. Much love and preparation went into designing just the right hull lines for that perfect mixture of beauty and homeliness. Maybe you want to join me to a sail to Catalina island?

Hopefully the name San Dimas brings back great memories of Bill and Ted for you also. Growing up Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures was one of my favorite movies and I knew that I just HAD to come to San Dimas to see where it all started, maybe go down the water slides and such :) . Well I am happy to say that my dream has come true! Here is a picture of me standing in front of San Dimas High!

I have been hearing a lot about Godspell in the past few years, but I have never known anything about it. I decided to get the movie produced by David Greene and I have to tell you it was ridiculously awesome. Jesus is a clown with an afro with a hippee following. I am fairly certain I laughed through most of the movie uncontrollably. One of the best parts though had to have been when the Pharisees accost Jesus. Instead of a group of humans the Pharisees are represented by a garbage bag monster with people hiding inside of it controlling the eyes, arms and mouth. The mouth is some sort of slinky that kind of bobs around when the Pharisee is talking. Jesus defeats the Pharisee monster by throwing dirty clothes on it after quoting scripture. I could not not share this with you. Take a look at a few shots from the movie below.

The ice cream was really soft so I started checking out other stuff in the freezer, all of it was thawing. Pop open the fridge and it is way warmer than it should be. Turns out the cooling fins were totally clogged. Don't forget to clean yours out or you may ruin the fridge!

I do not particularly enjoy working on a Windows machine and today I ran across the Wubi project again. It allows a user to install Ubuntu Linux on their Windows based machine to try it out. There is no need for any extra partitioning as Wubi installs as a Windows program. It sits inside the Windows partition and can be remove at any time through the control panel, thus keeping your Windows install safe. Upon computer boot the Windows boot menu will pop up asking you to choose to boot Windows or Ubuntu. It works great and now I have my full Linux development studio setup again. Should have figured there would be a project out there that let me have my Linux without hurting the Windows image. Go Linux!

Check out a screenie. I even got OSX to run inside VMware Player inside my semi-virtual Linux!

The short strap and the longer goatee. Decided I did not really like that so I shaved off the strap too. Amazing what that small change did to how I look. It does seem weird now that no fur folds up on my face when I rub upwards from my jawline. That was kinda a neat feeling. I am liking the goatee for now, we will continue to watch and wait.
