On the last True North Trekkers hike we passed a gorgeous falls, Narada Falls on Mt. Rainier. I was too close to fit everything in, so I took a series of 18 photos. These photos all have different exposures and contrast on them, and a couple were taken sideways (I don't remember doing that though). I used a free program called Hugin to stitch the photos together. It did a brilliant job of connecting them up, rotating a couple, and adjusting their contrasts similarly. Check it out!

It's finally done! My Camping and Rec class has a project requirement of each student to build some sort of handbook. Most students choose a retreat or summer camp, but I chose to build a hiking manual. It is pretty comprehensive too. Came out to 94 pages! No wonder it took me 2 weeks of daily working on it for hours to finish! I will be adding more to this post tomorrow when I create my powerpoint presentation file and present it all, but for now here is a link to view my manual if you want. Went on a couple hiking trips this past weekend. Both were absolutely gorgeous.
Columbia Gorge in Oregon
Unfortunately my camera batteries died so I only had my phone to snap shots with. At least I got some though.
Mt. Rainer
Charged up my camera Saturday night for this Sunday hike. Followed the rocks along side an amazing waterfall for probably half a mile. Both the waterfall and the trail were stunning.
