I ate dinner at NNU's secretary's house tonight and the food was amazing. Particularly the baked beans she made. Thought I should share it with you, also this is a good place to store things for my own memory

Anne's Barbeque Baked Beans
Serving Size: 8
32 ounces pork and beans
1 cup chopped brisket
1 cup BBQ sauce
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
Combine all ingredients in a 4-quart saucepan. Over medium heat bring beans to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Cook beans for 20 minutes or until a thick soupy consistency is reached. After letting them simmer you can also put these in a baking dish (uncovered) and let them bake in the oven on medium heat (350 or so) for a while...at least an hour. Enjoy!
The dish I ate did not include the brisket and was not placed in the oven. It was stupendous!
